Week 20 Pregnancy Update

This pregnancy is going very well. Everything is pretty much the same as it was with my first two.  I am feeling baby move more and more and my energy has returned.  The only real negative thing is the heartburn...same with my first two pregnancies.  HELLO TUMS!

I had my 20 week ultrasound last week and we were so thankful to learn that baby is growing healthy and strong.

We were beyond thrilled to find out we will be having another boy!  We have just loved watching Joshua adore Kayla and thought it would be so fun for her to have another brother to spoil and protect her. 

We had family over for dinner that night to celebrate the news.  Since Joshua loves balloons so much we thought it would be fun to make the big announcement by letting him open up a box of blue balloons. 

Before the big event we were explaining to him what we were going to do and what the different colors would mean.  He said he thought it was a boy.  When I told him the balloons were going to fly away he asked, "Will the boy still be here?"  So after more explaining he then asked if we were going to open up the balloon.  I think he might be confused about the whole process. He will love having a little brother. 

The next morning we were discussing names while eating breakfast.  Originally Joshua wanted to name the baby Baby.  Then he randomly announced that he wanted to name the baby James.  James is on the list but it seemed so out of the blue for him to announce it the way he did.  When we were discussing middle names he kept picking characters from Mickey Mouse (James Goofy, James Daisy etc).  My favorite name that he came up with was James New Boy.
