January 2018

Selfie with Aunt Sydney

Playing at Kids Dig, an indoor sandbox.

I am so glad that I paid money for Kayla and Levi to build blocks and play trains instead of dig in the giant sand box.  Because you know, we cant build with blocks or play trains at home. HEE-HEE!

This little guy was SO excited to have a sleepover at Omah's house with Jeremiah.

All set with his bear poking out of his backpack.

Our community lost a deputy in the line of duty.  This tragedy really impacted our community.  I think it hit so close to home for me for a  few reasons.  I have friends who have husbands who are deputies, one of my friend's husband (who was injured in the line of duty just a few days prior) worked with this particular deputy, and just being a former military spouse and having military friends.  I have so much respect and appreciation for our law enforcement officers and their families.

They shut down the highway for the procession.   To show our respect the kids and I went to watch the procession.  It was so humbling.
The bridges on the highway all had firetrucks holding up an American flag.

Waiting for the procession to start.

It started with at least 200 motorcycle police.

On the top of The Rock with my sista!

This boy is always pushing the boundaries.

He has really, really enjoyed helping daddy with our kitchen remodeling project.

Thrilled that we let her sleep in her fort.

She is pretending to be a pregnant Mary.  One of her favorite games to play.

We had a very sweet addition join our family  Anna and Andrew welcomed their perfect baby girl, Evelyn into the world.

The kids love their new cousin.

I was so proud of Kayla's writing.

Big brother Jeremiah admiring his new sister.

Aunt Amy came for a short visit.  The kids always have so much fun with her.  She is so fun and great with them.  In the pictures below they are doing hat they love doing with her, playing on snap chat.  So much laughing going on.

Enjoying some cuddles from my snuggle bug after he
woke up on the wrong side of the bed after nap one day.

Love his helmet hair.

 Practicing snowboarding.

He felt soooo special not having to share the beater with his siblings.

Our first real big snow of the season.  We had the neighbor boys over to make some donuts.
S

Well, that is one way to open the door.

Loving on Evelyn.

After volunteering for the day at Joshua's school we went out and had a lunch date.

He has been quite attached to this baby since Evelyn was born.  I love how tender he is.

I told him the pool opens in about 4 months.  He was pretty excited.

Joshua has been so into Legos and he is so creative.  I love seeing all that he comes up with.  He checked out a Lego creations book from the Library.  He makes things from the book using whatever pieces he has.  He usually doesn't have the exact but he is so good and improvising.

This was his own creation.  It is a multi level castle.  It really has a
lot of detail that doesn't show in the picture.
