Joshua is such an easy going baby. He is very predictable and thrives on following a schedule.
He is becoming quite the talker. While riding in the car he keeps himself entertained chattering away. My favorite is when he randomly starts laughing. Just today when I laid him down for a nap, I happened to walk by his room about 5 minutes later and I heard him in his crib giggling.
He loves people watching! The other day we were eating at a restaurant and Joshua was watching two people at a near by table. One person started laughing and he started laughing right along with them like he was apart of their conversation.
He is a thinker. He loves to study how things work. He loves zippers, strings, buttons, drawers, basically anything with moving parts that he can play with, study, and of course put into his mouth.
Joshua is a serious Mama's boy but also loves his daddy! It has been fun seeing the differences in my relationship with Joshua and Daniel's relationship with Joshua. He likes to sit and cuddle with me and be crazy and goofy with daddy. Daddy can get him to laugh at almost anything. They play and laugh a lot together.
Here are some pictures from this past month...
He really likes to watch videos of himself. He copies what he is doing in the video. It is great entertainment for us to watch him watch himself.
As I have mentioned in several other posts Joshua LOVES ceiling fans. Here he is at Lowes in absolute awe of all the ceiling fans.
He is slowly getting better at finger foods. He does great with bigger foods like crackers, teething biscuits and homemade baked sweet potato fries. When I offer him cut up fruits and veggies that I know he likes in puree form he will pick it up, slowly bring it to his mouth and then start making faces before it even makes it into his mouth. But, like I said, he is getting better. In the last few days I have seen him put food in his mouth, chew it AND swallow it all without making a face! Also, he likes to share his food with other people.
He also likes to share his food with Aspen and Aspen is happy to receive.
Laundry basket rides are the best!
I got him some plastic Easter Eggs to play with and he loves them. He really studies them and tries really hard to put them back together. It is amazing how long these eggs keep him busy.
Better than t.v.
He LOVES this book. It has the names and pictures of different objects. He likes to sit in my lap and point to different pictures while I tell him what it is. He can point out dog and baby when you ask him.
This is what he does when you ask him, "where's your nose." Seriously, this cracks me up.
Last but not least, I leave you with pictures of Joshua's signature goofy face...
