He was so proud to stand up so straight and tall wanting us to all look at him to see how big he was now that he was 3.
Each time we sang to him (for breakfast and then again before cake) he would sing along with us.
Our traditional pancake birthday breakfast.
One of my many favorite things about celebrating my kids on their birthdays is watching their siblings celebrate them. Joshua and Kayla both wrapped up toys to give to Levi. They never get jealous.
Levi testing out his new Thomas the Train pillow case.
This is the Lactard train :)
Aunt Amy sent him a "chugging Percy." We agave him a "chugging Thomas" (Chugging trains is what Levi calls them. They are battery operated). The one we gave him didn't come with a car to pull but it had a latch to connect to something and Levi knew. He was asking how we connect it. As soon as he opened Aunt Amy's he went off and started playing with them trying to connect them.
Saw this fun idea on Pintrest (of course). It is punch a prize. It was a big hit.
Aunt Amy also sent him these Thomas the Train Pj's Kayla was so excited that he had button up pj's like hers that she immediately went and put hers on. Also, check out that photo bomber...lol!
A few weeks before his birthday we got the kids a basketball hoop and told them it was an early birthday gift for Levi. A few days before his birthday when we were talking about how it was coming up Levi said to me, "you will have to wrap my basketball thing."
We also talked about how we always say thank you after we open a gift. Then we practiced opening imaginary gifts and saying thanking you. SO when the time came he was so cute always being sure to say thank you. As time went on and things got a little hectic and he didn't know who the present he was opening was from he would just say thank you into thin air.
After his party he asked me if he was going to be two again. Then a day or so after his birthday he told me he was always going to be 3.
