Joshua recently inherited one of Daddy's old wallets and he thinks it is the coolest thing ever! He seriously loves his wallet.
What goes best in a wallet? Why dollar bills of course. He has graduated from wanting to earn quarters to earning dollars. The other day he asked me, "Mommy, after I fill up my marble jar can I have a dollar? And I don't want one with a 1 on it, I want one with a 5 on it." This makes me laugh every time I think about it.
Another funny thing is his little entrepreneur spirit. All on his own he set up his own garage sale. He made a bunch of dollar signs and gathered items in a bucket.
He set it up out in front of our house. He told me that people take something they want and leave him a dollar. I guess the neighbor kids were asking their parents if they could buy something from his sale. One neighbor boy asked his mom for a dollar. When she asked why he said, "Joshua will give me a penny if I give him a dollar." AHAHAHA!!!
Kayla asked me for a dollar and when I asked her why she said, "I want to buy a baby from Joshua's sale." A baby that was already hers!!!
