A few days before Halloween we carved our pumpkins.
They both loved looking at all the gunk on the inside.
The night before Halloween we headed to our Church's Fall Festival.
There has been a bear sighting.
She was so stinkin' cute. Before we got her costume on she told me, "Me growl at you." Sure enough, once she turned into a dino she made the cutest roaring sounds. No matter how hard this sweet girl tries she couldn't be vicious.
This little bear had no interest in staying put during the Fall Festival. He wanted to be in the action and was crawling around everywhere which everyone thought was so cute to see a little bear prowling around. We actually lost him in the crowd for about 10 seconds.
Filling up a jar with cotton balls with his eyes closed.
Halloween night we went trick-or-treating down our street
.
My crew...too bad the picture is blurry.
They were so cute and so excited. Joshua would say trick-or-treat which was immediately followed by thank you (before he even got his treat).Checking our their loot.
Levi was thrilled to be in the mix. He kept grabbing all the suckers.
"Look what I got Mom!"
Look at that face. He was happy as could be sucking on a sucker with the
wrapper still on. When I tried to take it away from him he yanked it back with
more might then I have ever felt from him. I later discovered that he was actually getting
a taste through a hole he sucked.
Joshua was excited to get home and pass out candy. He kept running outside to check down the street to see if any trick-or-treaters were coming. Then he would run inside and report back to us.
A few of the houses we went to had candy sitting with a sign that said "please take one piece of candy." One house said to take 2 pieces. Joshua was thrilled he got to get two pieces. When we got home to pass out our candy Joshua said I am going to make a sign that says, "Get 7." He got some paper and a marker and I heard him sounding out letters as he wrote. Here is his note decoded...The first letter on the left is a G for get. Then that 2 is suppose to be a S followed by a V and N for seven.
After we put the kids to bed Mom and Dad might have raided their candy and ate it while watching one of our favorite shows in bed, LOST. Sorry, not sorry kids.
Love watching our kids create memories together!
