What a fun filled month August was.
Date with Mommy while Brother and sister were at
Omah and Papa's for the night and Daddy was out of town.
Joshua had his 4 year check up (a few months late). He got to shots, one in each leg. They must have hit his muscles in one leg because he was hurting. After the appointment we went to the store and I asked how his leg was feeling, he said, "it hurts worse then the sickness!!!" (Before hand I was trying to explain why we got shots and how they protect us from getting really sick).
Here are his 4 year stats:
"I'm Dr. Big Milobsky." This makes me laugh because our doctor is super tall!
Excavating their ice treasures!

So proud!
My shopping buddy and her purse!
His first try at Crazy 8's and he won.
Papa is smitten with his only granddaughter!
Family breakfast! The kids just love when we go out to breakfast as a family.
"Where are my pancakes?"
And of course baby joins us.
Joshua can often be heard asking, "So now what can I jump off?" Lately it seems that his goal in life is to find the highest thing possible and drop off of it. Normally I try to let him be a boy and let him be a thrill seeker but I had to jump in when I saw him about to jump off of this.
Sleeping Beauty and her Bear.
K is baking and J is playing baseball...two little people after my own heart.
Craft time at Omah and Papa's.
Doing one of his chores. He always does chores so willingly.
We were getting ready to go someplace and I walked in to find Joshua trying to put Kayla's shoes on for her. What a big helper he is!
He was explaining to her that you have to pull the tongue of the shoe up and so she started sticking out her tongue.
Boys will be boys! Just keep that snake away from Mom please.
A neighbor let her borrow this baby. As he was cuddling it she said, "Me keep this baby forever!"
Holding on to summer as long as we can. Playing at a splash park.
Love these two goofballs!
There goes my heart! Watching a high school softball game.
Daddy took Joshua and Kayla to the Dentist. Last time Kayla went to the dentist she was terrified and cried the entire time like she was being tortured. I really tried to prep her by talking to her and reading books before this next appointment. She was really excited and said she was going to cry. So we had high hopes for a different experience this time around. Joshua went first to show her how it is done. Daniel said she was excited for her turn and wanted to get in the chair. But when her time came, she wailed again.
The ever compliant Joshua.
Joshua is really into making paper airplanes. They don't really fly though because they are weighted down by glue. Why they need glue? I have no idea.
Until next month...
