We had such a great 4th of July celebrating our great country and all of our freedoms! Part of what made it so great is all of are awesome neighbors. Can I just say how much we love our neighborhood?! Such a fun crew!
In the afternoon we spent some time at the pool where a couple of our neighbors happened to be as well. Then everyone came to our house for a BBQ and fireworks.
The kids all had so much fun and it was a blast watching them enjoy the fireworks.
4th of July pool time.
Party time!!!
If ever you can't find Kayla, always check the food table. She was eating salsa by the spoonful.
Levi is always a hit with the kids.
Neighborhood buds!
2 of the cutest firecrackers I know!
There is that adorable firecracker duo again.
Joshua's watermelon dog.
The kids started with poppers...
...then sparklers.
Then it was time for the street fireworks.
Watching fireworks. I love Joshua's expression here. It says it all!
Kayla loved the fireworks and absolutely was not phased at all by the loud noise. There was one that went off and everyone, adults included, jumped in surprise. Miss Kayla didn't even flinch. I even saw her giggling while watching fireworks.
This girl sported a filthy face all night long. Between the constant salsa eating, popsicle, jello, ketchup, watermelon, and who knows what else it looked like she was wearing war paint.
Tim, a firework spectator.
One of our (and my favorite) firework technicians ;)
More firework technicians :)
What a fun, fun time! God bless the USA!
