Happy 10 Year Anniversary

Today Daniel and I celebrate 10 years of marriage.

I love, respect and admire this man with all that I am.

I love that after 10 years we are still friends and enjoy being with eachother.

I love that we have accomplished so much together, as a team!

I love that our love is real.  It runs deep, so much deeper than the superficial Hollywood type.

I love that in the midst of all the craziness that comes with raising two kids, soon to be 3, we can look at each other and just laugh.

10 fun facts about us...

1.  When I was little one of my favorite things to play was house.  My pretend husband's name was often Daniel
2.  Daniel's first love was a girl in his kindergarten class named Angie.
3.  When we first met he was telling me about his dreams of being stationed in Germany where I quickly replied with I could never live that far away from my family.  Well, we never were stationed in Germany but I would follow that man anywhere.
4.  We both strongly believe in the importance of date nights and having them often.
5. I have wonderful in laws who have taken me in like one of their own and have never made me feel like an in law, rather, they make me feel like their own daughter.
6.  Ever since we've been married I have told him that I can throw a softball further them him.  Drives him crazy.  To this day we still haven't  done this competition because I know I will loose.
7.  Things are easily turned into a little friendly competition with Daniel.  One time we sat on the couch taking turns throwing Aspen's ball to see who could be the first one to hit a door knob that was across the room.
8.  Speaking of competition, on one of our early dates he wanted to throw rocks at birds.  He tells me now, "what was I thinking?"  I must have been crazy about him to stick around after that.
9.  We usually bet a free massage but no matter who wins I usually always end up getting a massage because he knows how to take care of me.
10.  We eat a lot of ice cream together in this house and I mean a lot.   I won't say how much for fear of being judged :)

Celebrating our big number 10 at Outback Steak House.

I woke up to a candy trail that lead me all the way downstairs to a big stash of my favorite chocolates...Sees Candy.  I am so glad that I happened to be up before Joshua or else he would have thought something very magical happened in this house and I wouldn't have been the only one eating candy before breakfast.  LOL!

Happy Ten Year Anniversary to the one my heart loves. You are one of my greatest treasures. Strong, courageous, Godly, wise, and full of integrity. You have been my strongest supporter encouraging me through the trials of life telling me I could when I said I couldn't .
