This is one special dad! He loves and affirms his kids and would do anything for them.
He is a fun Dad! He plays all sorts of games with both his babes.
Joshua already looks up to his Daddy so much. Whenever I need him to do something that he doesn't want to do usually all I have to do is tell him that Daddy does it. For example, "Daddy wears his hat when he goes outside." And on goes the hat.
To show this special daddy how much we love and appreciate him, Joshua made him a very special card.
Joshua worked very hard his Daddy's card. He spent a long time drawing balloons then decorating it with stickers and then putting more stickers on. And then he put stickers on the stickers ;)
Here are his balloons he made all by himself.
And the finished product.
Giving Daddy his card and present.
He got Daddy some nuts. Joshua knows he can't have nuts and whenever he sees us eating them he tells us, "nuts, older" meaning "I can have nuts when I am older." Since he couldn't eat any he offered to feed some to Mommy and Daddy. Here he is digging in to get some nuts to feed Daddy.
A Father's Day hug.
Helping Daddy prepare the marinade. And no he absolutely did NOT sneeze in the marinade from all the pepper.
Taste testing our ice cream for Father's Day. He wanted to eat ice cream for dinner. Then the next morning he asked for ice cream for breakfast. I told him we would eat ice cream when Papa comes over. A few minutes later he falsely declared, "Papa's here!" Can't blame him for trying.
Keeping cool in the kiddie pool
Skyping with Anna and Noah.
Happy Father's Day to the best Daddy Joshua and Kayla could ever ask for. You truly are an amazing Dad! You love Joshua and Kayla so selflessly. They are blessed to have you!
