Wow, it seems like just yesterday I was writing about Kayla's two month update and here I am writing about her three month update already. Time is flying by and my baby girl is growing so fast.
Kayla is such a sweet baby. She is so content, easy going, and rarely complains about anything.
Her smile is so infectious. She smiles a lot and talks a lot! Sometimes she would rather talk and smile at me than eat. Sometimes when she gets excited she starts smiling, squealing, and kicking her feet.
She just very well may be a red head. I am not sure if you can tell in the pictures of not but her hair is strawberry blonde. So pretty!
She really likes to suck on her hands.
She is still being swaddled for naps and night time sleep. I tried laying her down for her nap with her arms unswaddled a couple time but she wasn't having it.
She still loves taking baths and being naked.
I think she will forever be nicknamed Baby Kayla and Kayla Girl. Joshua has started calling her by these two names and it is so stinkin'cute.
She loves the ceiling fan. She stares and smiles at it just like Joshua did.
She is starting to notice Joshua more. When we eat lunch I always sit her in her bouncy chair and put her right between mine and Joshua's chairs so she can see both of us and she usually just stares at her big brother.
Sleeping is going pretty good. She gets her bedtime feed at 6:30pm and is up around 7:30/7:45am for the day waking once in between for a feed.
She still takes 4 naps. The first two naps are pretty predictable and she goes down with little to no fussing and the last two naps can be a little more stubborn but are getting much better.
Smiling at my Mimi
Hanging out with Auntie Brooke.
I just love that smile!
"Omah and Papa think I am the cat's meow!"
Clean baby! She still loves her baths and still just kicks and splashes like crazy.
Joshua thought this would be a good place for his flags.
Joshua LOVES when I put Kayla in her crib with him. Someday soon she will think it's a blast too!
Joshua is such a sweet big brother. Here he is turning on the music for her. He always makes sure that her bouncy seat music is playing when she is in it.
What a face! I was making the same noise that I made when I got Joshua to giggle for the first time. She obviously had a much different reaction
Relaxing after a nice meal. Life is good!
She hasn't rolled over yet. She is actually really close to rolling from her back to her tummy though. She rolls to her side and just lays there. **UPDATE** Kayla rolled from her tummy to her back the day after I originally posted this blog. I was vacuuming and I think she was trying to find where the noise was coming from. Joshua was laying right next to her doing his tummy time when it happened.
"Oh Daddy, you're so funny!"
She loves her big brother!
Doing some wrestling tummy time on Joshua.
We sure do love this sweet girl!
