Hangers! Who knew such a simple thing could keep an active toddler busy for so long?! When I need some time to get something done and need Joshua to keep himself occupied I give him a handful of hangers. All I have to do is throw a bunch of hangers on the floor and he goes nuts. To buy me even more time I put the hangers in a different room than where he is hanging them so he has to go back and fourth between rooms to get them ;) It is simple, free, and easy clean up.
