September 2022

Took the kids to watch a football game at my high school

Such an amazing sunset!

Daniel and I got away for the night while the kids stayed at Aunt Diane's.

Elk were everywhere!

Around 9pm we got a message from our host saying they left some goodies by the door for us.

Breakfast with a view.

Learning prepositions with paper airplanes.

I love watching them look through our family blog books.

Trying to do Joshua's math. I love his determination.

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.

Kayla had planned on giving us this framed picture to us
for our anniversary for months in advance.

They surprised me with chocolate covered strawberries for our 18th wedding anniversary.

Love this note...Love the Herr kids.

Poor buddy broke his arm for the second time.  He told everyone he came in contact with that it was just dangling and the only thing holding it together was his skin.

He was is so much pain I could hardly get him our of the car.  He requested a stretcher.  He also made it very clear that he didn't want anyone touching him.  As we were waiting to be seen he was quite vocal and made it very clear that this was an emergency and they should be acting quicker.  He also wanted to know when they would invent a shot for instant relief.

A few funny things he said after waking up.  He kept asking the nurses if he was alive.  When he saw Daniel he asked, "Are you my Dad?"  When Daneil said yes Joshua said, "Alright!" and gave him nuckles.  He thought he was Darth Vader.

Pumpkin bread baking contest between Mom and Kayla.  The votes were split.

Cousins sent a gift to help pass the time as he heals.

Happy 8th birthday, Levi!

You might be a homeschooler if you are just as excited
about this shirt as your mom is.
