Cake Walk.
Joshua drawing the face.
Team work cutting open the top.
Scooping out the inside. They loved this part. There was a lot of giggles and "eewwws."
The two big kids lost interest towards the end but not Levi. He was all about helping Daddy all the way to the end.
The night they've all been waiting for.
Levi was so cute trying to keep up with Joshua and Kayla. He of course didn't really understand what that candy business was all about but he sure did love it. All he knew was people were putting treats into his bucket. After he would get a treat he would say, "Thank you" in his deep Levi voice and then he would just stand there like he wanted to be invited in. Everyone thought he was hilarious! He would also check out all the pumpkins as he walked up and down the driveways. By check out I mean put his face half an inch way from them. Once when he came across one that wasn't lit he said, "oh man." He also was quick to tell us whose porch lights were on and off.
This was the first house we went to. Joshua and Kayla were so excited they forgot to wait for Levi but he didn't care. He marched right up to the first house all by himself.
Their favorite part (and yes this is what they told me their favorite part was) of the night was handing out the candy. Joshua would run in and let us know when he saw Trick-or-Treaters coming our way. After he would pass out candy he'd run in the house to add a tally to track how many groups of Trick-or-Treaters we got. Passing out candy was Joshua's favorite part last year as well. I love that they find giving just as much fun, if not more fun, than receiving.

Hard to see but this is J and K both waiting for Trick-or-Treaters.
Kayla was equally excited cheering on the Trick-or-Treaters. She would yell, "Trick-or-Treaters I have candy."
Right before calling it a night. He was laying in the driveway with a pillow and blanket.
