This was Kayla's first time painting and she loved every minute of it...except for when her brush was out of paint. When that happened she would reach over to the paint with her brush and grunt for more.
Here is the finished product.
I wasn't planning on doing a patriotic theme. It just so happened that Joshua's tissue paper art (top left) was red and white and Kayla painted with blue paint (bottom right). So I decided to continue with that theme and make flag hand prints.
The bottom left is a letter Joshua wrote to the baby and it is the sweetest letter ever.
Here is what he told me to write.
Dear Baby Brother,
I can’t wait to hug him and kiss him.
I love playing toys with my little baby brother.
Write that!
I can’t wait to eat breakfast and dinner with my baby
brother. Write that!
I can’t wait to sleep with my baby brother.
I can’t wait to play with my baby brother. “Write
that!”
I can’t wait to go to Omah and Papa’s and with my
brother. “Write that!”
Love,
Joshua
