I loved seeing my big cousin Benjamin. When I get older he is going to teach me a lot of neat things.
Oh Benhamin, you are so funny!
Here I am giving Benjamin loves.
Here is a picture of me and my cousin Zechariah. We are going to be buddies once I learn how to walk and am able to keep up with him ;)
If you have never been to Holyoke let me tell you, it is a very small town. One of the neat things is that everything is in walking distance. We walked to the post office, grcoery store, the Pizza Pad and other small shops in town. Yes, we did a lot of walking. One day we all took a walk to the Oak Tree. Mom says they have really cute home decor but if you ask me it just looks like a lot of breakable things I can get into.
My Oma watched me play in this cool kids area while my Mommy looked around at the Oak Tree. Mom Says you can't visit Holyoke without stopping by the Oak Tree.
After the Oak Tree we walked to the Pizza Pad. I ate my blueberries while everyone enjoyed their sodas. My Aunt Marcy gave me my first taste of Sprite when Mom wasn't looking.
SSHHH don't tell my mom.
If you are reading this blog post Mom, don't worry, this is an empty root beer bottle.
After we got home from the Pizza Pad Oma decided that I needed a bath. I was pretty dirty from walking around barefoot (Mom forgot my shoes) and eating blueberries.
As you can see, I attract a large crowd. Grandpa even got out of his chair, which doesn't happen that often, to come see me in the bath.
After my bath I walked around naked and then peed on Great Grandma and Great Grandpa's carpet. Good thing I am cute.
WHEW, that was one tiring day. Don't I look peaceful? Well, don't let this picture fool ya. I gave mom two bad nights of sleep. Normally I am a pretty good sleeper but not in Holyoke. The first night Mom finally just brought me into bed with her to sleep for the very first time. I LOVED that. I woke up a few times that night and searched for my Mom and when I found her I laid my head on her. As much as my mom would have loved for me to have slept in my pack and play she enjoyed cuddling me all night long. The second night was a little better. When I woke up in the night, my Mom figured she would bring me into bed with her again since that worked the previous night. It worked for about three minutes. After that I started whispering to my Mom. Then I started crawling around the bed. Not much makes my Mom smile at 12 am but I know my whispering made her giggle inside even though she tried to hide it so I wouldn't think it was time to play. Mom finally put me back in my pack and play, I cried a while, but finally fell back asleep. Hey can you blame me? My Dad was out of town and I was sleeping in an unfamiliar place. Once we got home I was so happy to be back in my own bed and slept like the sleeping champ that I normally am.
See my Aunt Marcy on the far left hiding behind the paper? She was playing peek-a-boo with. It was so funny!
I entertained Great Grandma and Great Grandpa by dancing for them, waving to them, pointing to them- A LOT, and of course by pushing my train around the house all-day-long!
I also pushed Great Grandpa's walker around the kitchen.
And my favorite thing was looking at all the pictures of my cousins that Great Grandma and Great Grandpa have hanging in their kitchen. This one was one of my favorites. I looked at it so much and kept pointing to all those cute babies that I ended up tearing a little piece off.
It was a long three hour trip. I did pretty good on the way there but on the way home we hit traffic and I was very tired of being in my car seat. But I survived.
What a fun trip I had! I can't wait to go back and visit Holyoke again soon!

Super Cute!! I can't wait to meet you and give you lots of love!
