I have decided that I will never blink again because every time I do it seems like J-Bow is another month older. I can't help but think how this little boy will be leaving for college in no time. Yes, I am a little dramatic sometimes.
Here are some pictures from this past month.
Joshua's first time swimming! He enjoyed hanging out in the water watching all the kids play. He didn't even mind getting splashed in the face a million times by all the kids.
He claps now and it is quite possibly the cutest thing I have ever seen. Whenever you say "yea" he starts clapping. The other day I was cleaning his nose out which he has come to hate. He was crying and so mad. When I was done I did the sign for all done and said, "All done" and he started clapping. It was pretty hilarious. He also claps sometimes when you go get him in the morning or after a nap and when he knows he is getting ready to nurse (he has also started smacking his lips right before nursing. Silly boy).
He has no interest in crawling yet. He is perfectly content rolling around or sliding on the hardwood floor.

Helping Daddy shovel.
He loves watching Aspen. He even tries to say dog when he sees her. It comes out "do" (like dog without the g.) When we ask him "where's the doggie." He often times will look for her. It is fun to see him starting to understand language.
- He is great eater. He nurses 4 times a day (5 if he gets up at 5 am which he still sometimes does but then goes right back to sleep) and gets solids for breakfast and dinner. He eats anything offered to him except for plain oatmeal (it has to be mixed with something) and avocado. I am still enjoying making his food.
- He gives high fives.
- He reaches out for you to hold him. He will extend his arms and kick his feet all with a big 'ol smile on his face. Really warms a Mama's heart.
- All-day-long I hear "Dada Dada Dada." And all day long I say, "Dada's at work." Or "No, I'm Mama." :) My favorite is when he whispers Dada. So sweet.
- He loves rolling his tongue over his bottom teeth. If you look closely you can see him doing it in a few of the above pictures.
- He sleeps on his tummy about 99.9% of the time.
I say it almost every time but this stage is a lot of fun! We can't wait for all the fun next month holds!
