6 Month Appointment

Today Joshua had his 6 month well baby check up.  The doctor said he is perfect.  Our thoughts exactly ;)

Stats:
*17lbs 14oz (50^th percentile)
*28 inches long (90^th percentile) He takes after his uncle Andrew.

Antics:

• He scratches EVERYTHING as a way of exploring.
• He blows raspberries when he is tired.
• He LOVES pulling the pull chain on the ceiling fan.  When we walk under the ceiling fan in his room to lay him down in his crib or when we get him up out of his crib sometimes he immediately looks up and reaches with his hands for it all the while sporting a big ol' smile. 
• One of his favorite games is to drop his toys on the floor while sitting in his booster seat then stare long and hard at them like he is tyring to use the force to get them back in his hands. 

Milestones:

• He sits unassisted for long periods of time.  I still put the boppy behind him to soften his falls.
• He is doing great with solids.  So far he has had avocado, sweet potatoes, peas, pumpkin, pears and apples.  He pretty much eats anything we offer him with pumpkin being his least favorite and sweet potatoes his most favorite.  Next up is oat meal, barley, and squash.
• He cut his second tooth yesterday.  Both on the bottom.

Cutest Tebow fan ever (even with crooked pants.  As much as I would love to say Daaddy dressed him, he didn't this is Mom's fault).
