Who told this boy he could grow up?

Joshua is 5 months old today and it makes me so sad that time is flying by so fast! I try so hard to live in every single moment and enjoy every single second with him, even the hard/stressful ones(thankfully there aren't many of these but they do exist).  I remind myself that each day is a day that I will never get back and that encourages me to enjoy
every-single-part of mommy-hood!

Here is a look at what he has been up to this past month...

He is very interested in facial features.  He especially likes playing with Daddy's mouth.  He thinks it's a fun game.  The other night I was singing to him as I was putting him to bed and he grabbed my nose making me sound nasally.
My little scholar. He loves books and that makes the teacher in me very happy!
Joshua's first snow.  Can you see it in the background?
Cousin Roxy does some tummy time with the J-Man.
When he does tummy time he gets his arms and legs going real fast.  I call it the swimmer.  He looks like he really wants to crawl.  He starts out like this; knees under his body and butt high in the air.
 He pushes and reaches.
Then he takes a little rest because learning how to crawl is very tiring work.
This boy really does love his sleep.  Must get that from his Mama.  When he is tired the only thing he wants is his bed.  If he is crying while changing his diaper before nap he usually stops once I close the blinds I think because he knows nap time is coming.  I lay him down and he usually falls asleep with little to no fussing.  When he wakes up he lays in his bed and talks and plays with his feet until I come get him.  Same thing in the morning.  He used to sleep with his lower body swaddled and his arm out when it was too hot for the sleep sack but too cold not to have any covers.  Now that the weather is really cooling down he is usually always in the sleep sack.

Here he is making his newest goofy face.  I think it might feel good on his lower gums.  Whatever the reason it sure does make me laugh.
Trying to wiggle out of his car seat while on a walk.

Giving himself kisses while in jumper.

He loves his Jeep! He thinks the shifter is a lolly pop.

Almost rolling from back to tummy.
He has recently discovered his feet and now loves playing with them.  Especially during diaper changes.

As you can see I deal with some serious cuteness everyday!  My heart can hardly contain all the love I have for him.  He is growing and changing everyday and everyday he warms my heart and makes me smile and laugh.
Well, I better end this post because I have a half b-day to start planning!

Until next time, I leave you with this darling little face...
